When should we use this starter instead of the WordPress one?
Use astro-starter-static when the site has no CMS — copy lives in YAML and Markdown. Use astro-starter-wordpress when editors need WordPress / WPGraphQL.

These answers describe the starter, not a real client. Replace them.
Where do we edit copy?
In src/content/. Page templates in src/pages/ read those collections. Do not put prose in .astro files if a writer would change it.
How is the contact form protected?
A honeypot field plus Cloudflare Turnstile. The widget uses TURNSTILE_SITE_KEY at build time. functions/api/lead.js verifies the token with TURNSTILE_SECRET_KEY before writing to D1.
Is any of this copy real?
No. Cedar & Pine, the address, the phone number, and the service names are template placeholders.
